Angkor Wat Built

Angkor Wat was constructed between 1113 and 1150 CE under the reign of King Suryavarman II of the Khmer Empire. Originally built as a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu, it later became a Buddhist temple. Covering an area of approximately 400 acres, it is the largest religious monument in the world and a symbol of Cambodia's cultural heritage.
