The Tragedy of Antony and Cleopatra, written by William Shakespeare between 1603 and 1607, was first performed by the King's Men around 1607 at either the Globe Theatre or Blackfriars Theatre in London. The play follows the relationship between Cleopatra and Mark Antony from the time of the Sicilian revolt to Cleopatra's suicide. Its first publication was in the First Folio of 1623.
